How we work
Last updated 4 November 2026.
These are the plain-English terms for photographs, galleries and prints from Long Room & Co. Photography, Calgary, Alberta. We are an independent business and are not part of any club or league.
Our photographs
We own the copyright in the photographs we take. When you buy a photograph, you receive a licence to use it for personal purposes: to keep, to print for your home, and to share with family, friends and on your own social media. If you share one, please credit @longroomandco.
Please do not sell our photographs, use them in advertising, or use them for any commercial purpose without asking us first. Light edits such as cropping are fine. Please do not remove watermarks from preview images.
Galleries and buying
Match galleries are hosted on Pixieset. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Digital photographs are delivered by an emailed download link after payment. Payments are handled by our payment provider, so we never see your card number.
A digital file cannot be returned once it has been downloaded, so we do not usually refund it. If a file is faulty, or something is wrong with your order, tell us within 14 days and we will put it right.
Prints and gifts
Prints are made and posted by a print lab. Delivery times depend on the lab and the post. If a print arrives damaged or is not as ordered, contact us with a photograph of the problem and we will replace it.
Season Pass
A Season Pass covers the matches we photograph in the season named on the pass. It ends when that season ends and does not renew by itself. We will confirm exactly what is included in writing before you pay.
Portraits and events
Family portraits and events are booked by quote. Before the day we will confirm the date, the place, what is included and the price in writing. The licence above applies to the photographs unless the quote says otherwise. We will not publish photographs from a private portrait session without asking you first.
Coverage
We do our best to photograph every player and every match we cover, but we cannot promise to be at every match or to capture every player.
Photographs of you
If you would like a photograph of you taken down from a gallery, tell us and we will remove it.
